Berkeley’s new Lumina apartments. The Surrey town of Camberley is currently in the midst of a £300 million regeneration programme, with its residents set to reap an array of rewards from the redevelopment within the next few years. From the modernization of retail spaces to the addition of new art installations across the town, Camberley is being transformed into an up-and-coming, vibrant place to live. Located right in the heart of the town’s regeneration, award-winning developer Berkeley’s striking collection of contemporary apartments at Lumina pose an exciting opportunity for prospective homebuyers looking to invest into the town’s transformation, and benefit from the predicted 17% price growth forecast expected for homeowners by 2025.

Despite apartment prices in the area being 19% below the Surrey average per square foot – making Camberley one of the most affordable destinations in the county – residents at Berkeley’s new Lumina apartments are able to benefit from a range of amenities right on their doorstep, including the variety of improvements being made to the town centre. The Square shopping centre, just a three-minute walk away, is being reinvigorated as part of the regeneration into a brand new leisure and entertainment destination, containing around 100 shops and cafes. Alongside this, Camberley’s High Street has been awarded a £3.5 million grant to improve the roads and pavements, as well as the installation of public art, walkways and public seating within the town. Residents are also set to benefit from a brand new multi-million pound leisure centre, which will include wellness facilities such as a swimming pool, climbing wall and gym.

Ben Annetts, Sales and Marketing Director at Berkeley Homes Southern, comments: “We are thrilled that the regeneration of Camberley currently being undertaken is transforming the area into a thriving retail and residential hub.  Regeneration areas always tend to be popular with prospective homebuyers due to the opportunity for price growth, and the range of high-quality and brand new facilities available in the area. Those keen to benefit from a property right in the heart of this particular regeneration hotspot should consider our stylish apartments available at Lumina. Here, a range of on-site facilities – including an exclusive fitness suite, business lounge and rooftop garden – provide residents with a comfortable base that is conveniently placed to enjoy all that Camberley has to offer.”

Situated in the heart of Camberley town centre, directly opposite the train station, the stylish properties at Lumina enjoy contemporary interiors and a designer specification. A typical one bedroom apartment boasts a spacious open-plan kitchen/living/dining area that spans the full length of the apartment, providing an ideal space to host and entertain guests. A contemporary kitchen offers a choice of door and composite stone worktop finishes, allowing residents to personalise their space, as well as a range of NEFF integrated appliances, including a built-in compact oven microwave function, a fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. The master bedroom features large windows that offer stunning views of the garden terrace, as well as an abundance of fitted wardrobes in a separate and secluded dressing area, as well as enjoying a deluxe en suite bathroom. Residents are also able to benefit from an extensive collection of on-site facilities including a private screening room, residents’ business lounge and an exclusive fitness suite, as well as a private, secure residents car park.
