All the homes have now been sold at the Hailsham development by Ashberry Homes, where construction is due to finish later this year.

Ashberry Homes is building 111 properties across two phases at Magnolia Gardens, off New Road, Hellingly, including 75 houses for private sale and 36 affordable homes available for local people through rent or shared ownership.

The first phase of 69 homes at Hailsham development by Ashberry Homes is already completed, while work to finish the final plots from the 42 properties within phase two is now drawing to a close. All the new residents are due to move into their new homes by the end of this year.

Magnolia Gardens is part of the wider Hellingly Green consortium, which is delivering more than 460 homes, as well as shops, allotments and a new primary school, north of Hailsham.

Dan Storey, Sales Manager of Ashberry Homes, said: “The fact that all the homes at Magnolia Gardens have now been sold is testament to the quality of the properties here and the customer service we offer.

“Throughout the build process here, demand for homes at Magnolia Gardens has been exceptionally high.

“All 46 private homes within the first phase sold out in 2020, within a year of the site’s launch in 2019 – and this demand continued into the second phase.

“Part of the attraction of this development has been that it offered a mix of properties to suit the needs of a range of buyers, from two-bedroom starter homes to large five-bedroom houses for families.

“Location has been another key factor, with Magnolia Gardens being near open countryside, offering a rural backdrop to family life, while still being close to local amenities on the wider development and with Hailsham town centre just two miles away.

“We are now looking forward to finishing construction on site and welcoming the final residents to their new homes here.”
