Ashberry Homes’ Royal Retreat – There are now just nine new homes on the market at Ashberry Homes’ Royal Retreat development, off Vendee Drive.

The developer is building 123 new homes at the site, which lies within the wider Kingsmere neighbourhood, including 86 homes for private sale and 37 affordable properties for local people through rent or shared ownership.

Angela Nurse, Sales Manager for Ashberry Homes, said: “With many residents now moved in, Royal Retreat is quickly becoming a thriving new community on the western edge of Bicester.

“This development has been very popular with a variety of homebuyers, particularly first-time buyers from London who have realised that they can get so much more value for their money by purchasing here rather than trying to find somewhere in the capital.

“If they need to commute to London or want to visit family and friends there, the nearby railway station at Bicester Village runs a 45-minute service to Marylebone.

“The development affords residents the best of both worlds as it provides the peace and calm of a rural location yet is less than a mile to the town centre at Bicester – an up-and-coming location which has seen significant expansion in recent years with new housing being delivered and shops and restaurants opening up. On top of this, there is also easy access to Oxford and Milton Keynes and the M40 is very close by.”

A total of 52 of the private homes being provided at Royal Retreat are now complete, with just nine left to sell. More than three-quarters of the affordable properties have been handed over to the local housing association and residents have moved in. Building work is due to finish on the site in October.

Angela said: “We are looking forward to welcoming more residents to Royal Retreat as we draw nearer to the end of construction on the site.

“Considering the success of the development so far, we are expecting these final homes to be sold quite soon, so we would encourage anyone who is considering buying a top-quality new home in Bicester to get in touch with our sales team as soon as possible.”

There is currently a selection of three and four-bedroom homes available at Royal Retreat with prices starting at £397,500.

For more information about the homes left for sale call the sales team on 01869 722575 or visit https://www.ashberryhomes.co.uk/royal-retreat/.
