    ‘Build It Live’ 2025 opens in Kent this Weekend

    Visit ‘Build It Live’ this weekend at the Kent Event Centre in Maidstone (part of the Kent County Show Ground) and talk to some of the UK’s leading experts about how to make your dream home a reality.

    The interactive exhibition on Saturday and Sunday offers free one-to-one sessions and advice clinics for anyone looking to self build, renovate or extend their home. Visitors can learn more about build costs, basements, extensions and heating by attending any of the free handy clinics, or attend any of the free seminars and workshops, which run throughout the weekend and cover topics like how to build a sustainable home and how to find the perfect building plot.

    Listen to first time self builders from Kent who will be sharing their top tips for making a self build project a success. Visitors can also talk to leading exhibitors offering home design & build packages and also companies who are oak frame specialists.  Exhibitors will also include companies who have won prestigious Build It Awards.

    Organised by Britain’s longest running self build magazine the ‘Build It Live’ exhibitions take place in Kent (this weekend), then Oxfordshire and Exeter later in 2025.

    Bringing Build It magazine to life, ‘Build It Live’ is the UK’s most practical and focused self build show designed to provide face-to-face inspiration with thousands of products and expert advice all under one roof.

    Each show will have a ‘The Land Zone’ incorporating Build It’s Plotbrowser.com, the UK’s free online plot finding service. This area gives visitors all they need to know about finding land across the UK along with a gallery of currently available plots of land in the region plus the latest service-plot projects across the UK.

    Tickets are now on sale for each of the shows and visitors can:

    • Browse 1000s of products to source the right materials for your project
    • Attend FREE seminars, workshops and demonstrations – listen to experts discuss everything from planning permission to finding land
    • Ask Build It’s Experts the questions that are weighing on your mind
    • Gain financial and cost saving advice from leading companies and industry professionals
    • Get advice on heating your home, designing an extension and building a basement – and much more
    • Browse & secure plots around the UK at the Land Zone
    • Listen to real-life self builders discussing how they achieved their dream home
    • Head to the Sustainable Building Products Pavilion to browse the latest eco products
    • Get tips on how to be more creative with space

    Where to buy tickets

    Tickets are now on sale from the website. The standard ticket price will be £12 per person.  Children under 16 are admitted free with an accompanying adult.

    Open Saturday between 10am and 5pm and Sunday between 10am and 4.30pm. Tickets are valid on either day or can be used to attend on both days.
