Savills Investment Management has announced that it has seen an increase in its activity for the France/BeNeLux acquisitions to more than €300 million in 2016. The Savills IM company is also in the process of acquiring four new assets in retail and logistics. These new acquisitions are based in France and the Netherlands. The increase in acquisitions is more than double what they were previously.

Savills Investment Management is an international real estate investment manager. The company has offices all over the world including Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Milan, Munich, Singapore, Stockholm, Tokyo, Madrid, Paris and Sidney. The investment management company had managed assets totaling around €17 billion as of September 30th 2016. Key previous acquisitions for the company include logistics warehouses, retail spaces and offices located in France, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. The main focus of the company is to be the choice for investment managers and focus on the clients’ bests interest in order to achieve the best investments for them.

Savills IM has opened a new office in the Netherlands and is carrying on Savills IM’s increasing reputation in this market. Expanding the team will allow for more acquisitions to take place. The plans are to continue to grow assets through the year and have a variety of European clients ready to invest. The clients with Savills IM have a varied approach to risk, which could lead to some profitable investments for Savills and clients.

Apparently the current economy will offer a variety of good investment opportunities for both value-add and buy-and-hold investments. The investment management company have already proved their capabilities when achieving a large number of transactions. These transactions have taken place in both off-market and competitive environments. Therefore, with the economy continuing to improve, more and more opportunities for investment will come in to the market.
