Find My Surveyor has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Ryan Osman as Chief Technology Officer and co-founder. He joins original co-founder and Chief Operating Officer, Jack Purdie, as the business moves into its next phase of growth.
The leadership change comes as the platform completes a successful first year, with national expansion and enhanced technical capability now central to the roadmap. Osman’s role will focus on scaling infrastructure, refining design, and supporting increasing service demand.
Find My Surveyor was launched to overhaul the home survey booking process, which is often viewed as fragmented and time-consuming. Unlike comparison platforms that distribute customer data to multiple surveyors, the service assigns each user a single trusted, RICS-certified local surveyor professional offering their best rate.
The company’s OneQuote system powers this streamlined experience by identifying the most suitable surveyor based on the customer’s location, timeline and survey type. This means users receive one transparent price without multiple competing quotes.
“Our goal is to build the most trusted and efficient route to survey services in the UK,” said Jack Purdie. “With Ryan joining as CTO and co-founder, we now have the technical leadership in place to accelerate development and deliver that at scale.”
Under Osman’s guidance, the platform has already undergone significant optimisation, including backend logic improvements and a full interface redesign to remove friction and improve responsiveness.
Today, Find My Surveyor supports more than 15 survey categories — from standard RICS Level 2 and Level 3 reports to asbestos checks, CCTV drain investigations, fire risk assessments and home condition surveys.
“This industry has been underserved by technology for too long,” said Osman. “We’re giving homeowners a modern, straightforward way to get expert survey advice without the hassle or confusion that’s traditionally been part of the process.”
With momentum growing, the business will focus on automation, improving regional surveyor access, and setting a higher benchmark for technology-led survey comparison services throughout 2026 and beyond.
