A garden shed, converted into a residential space, within the confines of a six-bedroom house’s backyard, is being offered to tenants for an astonishing £1,400 each month.

Marketed as a “log cabin” or “flat,” this unique rental is specifically targeted at “working professionals.”

The compact one-bedroom unit is equipped with a kitchen and a living area, which includes amenities like a TV, couch, dining table, and even a breakfast bar.

Additionally, it features a distinct bedroom and a bathroom equipped with a modest-sized shower, toilet, and sink.

Despite being showcased with furnishings, the advertisement specifies that the cabin is to be let unfurnished.

The landlord has indicated that the property can accommodate up to two tenants.

Alongside the notable rent, a deposit of £1,615 is required.

This peculiar rental is situated in the prestigious area of Kingston Vale, near Kingston-upon-Thames, in south London.

The property is listed on OpenRent and is also advertised on Rightmove.

A notable inclusion in the rental agreement is that all utility bills, including electricity and water, are covered.

The property listing details: “This charming one-bed log cabin, nestled in Kingston Vale, boasts its own private entrance leading into Robin Hood playing fields. It’s located within the grounds of a large six-bedroom house. The cabin comprises a double bedroom, an open-plan living room, kitchen, and bathroom. All utility bills are included in the rent.
