Forge New Homes has released a first look at its new development on the site of the former Bolsover Hospital in the northern market town of Bolsover in Derbyshire.

Known as Welbeck Gardens, the 6.5-acre development will comprise 58 new homes and is being delivered in partnership with Lindum Group; the site will offer three- and four-bedroom family homes, with some of them affordable.

Each of the family homes is designed with a Scandinavian-inspired style and high-quality finishes, built to meet modern living standards, with adaptable spaces to suit the needs of today’s diverse family units. The homes incorporate modern amenities and flexible layouts, allowing spaces to be tailored to individual preferences. They feature soft tones, natural materials, and large windows that flood the interiors with natural light.

Toby Brown, Head of Sales at Forge Homes, said: “We’re excited to unveil these first images and our vision for Bolsover. We’re committed to delivering the highest standards of new homes and have collaborated closely with our designers to ensure that Welbeck Gardens will exceed local expectations. We look forward to welcoming people through the doors of the show house and sales office next year and in the meantime, welcoming them to register via our website for the first details.”

Freddie Chambers, Lindum Group Co-Chair added: “We’re very pleased to collaborate with Forge on this development, as it allows us to contribute to the regeneration of such a significant site. This partnership represents a great opportunity to create a vibrant community and enhance the local area, and we look forward to realising the vision captured in these images.”

The release of the first look image comes as Forge also announces the appointment of local firm Wilson Estate Agents to market the new properties. Jack Wilson, Director of Wilson Estate Agents said: “It’s an honour to be working alongside Forge Homes in promoting a new neighbourhood alongside all the benefits of Bolsover.

“These homes offer the perfect blend of contemporary design and practical living, making them ideal for both families and professionals.”
