    Barbon Appoints Broker Development Manager

    Barbon Insurance Group Ltd has appointed Nigel Robbins as broker development manager.

    Robbins joins from Precise Mortgages, following a 20-year career in the mortgage and insurance sectors.

    The appointment underlines a desire to capitalise on growth in the private rental sector, according to the company.

    Commenting on his appointment, Robbins said: “I am excited to be joining Barbon with the ability and opportunity to expand our distribution channels further into the broker sector where the growth potential is significant. Barbon is a well-established business with high quality targeted products and services delivering outstanding protection backed by the highest level of service. I am excited by the opportunity to help the business capitalise on the exciting dynamics in the UK private rental sector.”

    Andy Glynne, commercial director at Barbon, said: “I am delighted that Nigel is joining us to enable and deliver our next stage of growth. He brings enormous experience and expertise to the business and will be key to our development in the broker channel where we will deliver a credible alternative to the current market. His knowledge of the sector and previous success make him a great addition to our business”.

    The group provides risk management services to the UK residential lettings sector.
